Since Apache Lake is so warm in the Summer months it is great for swimming, water skiing and other water sports. Be sure to take along lots of sun screen, though! The Apache Lake area is open year round and is ideal for boating and fishing. Find out more about this second largest Salt River Project lake by going to the Recreation.gov website.
